As teachers, it is our responsibility to be effective in the classroom by catering to children's needs through education. Looking through an assignment I crossed upon a digital scavenger hunt in which I photographed pictures that are associated with a list of certain words. As I finished I realized that this would be a great project to work on with children in an elementary school classroom. It is a great strategy to incorporate hands on activities within the curriculum while teaching students concepts in math, reading, and science. It can also help us, as teachers, understand how students interpret each word, concept, or idea. This can ensure that our students understand the material or information that is given to them. A few examples of a digital scavenger hunt can include numbers, subtraction, addition, vocabulary, science terms such as photosynthesis, energy, and electricity. The list could go on. This is a fun and easy going activity that students are sure to enjoy.
